He is survived by: his daughters, Angela N. Blanton (David) of Burgaw, NC and Tracie A. Carnes (Jason) of Fayetteville, NC; his grandchildren, Brittany F. Blanton, David H. Blanton and Aaron M. Blanton; his great grandchild Kylie Blanton; and his sister Margaret Smith of Jacksonville, NC..
Visitation was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (6535 Clinton Rd, Stedman, NC 28391). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to Alzheimer's Association: In Memory of Henry New.
