He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Paris West and Carrie Mae Tyndall West; and his brothers, Kenneth and Alton West. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Ward (James) of Grays Creek and Keith West (Maria) of Fayetteville; his sister Virginia Mae Hales (Clarence) of Bladenboro; his grandchildren, Brandon West (Mary), Kelly West (Jeremy), Kaitlyn West (Aiden), Sean Ward (Mitizi) and Stephanie Harris (Ricky); and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie of Bladenboro and Lucy West of Bladenboro. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (6535 Clinton Rd, Stedman, NC 28391). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
