She was predeceased by: her parents, Joanna Tart Coats and William Vance Coats; her son Richard Dwayne Bullock; her pet Sidney Bella DeSarno; and also Butterball Bullock.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Bullock Oliver (Gregory Oliver) of Stedman and Jeffery Jerome Bullock (Jennifer Fungo) of Maryland; her grandchildren, Lana Michelle Oliver Haynes (Scott Haynes) of Wilmington, Alisha Jayne Oliver DeSarno (Michael DeSarno) of Charlotte, Jeffery Jerome Bullock Jr. of Goldsboro, Greyson Emanuel Bullock of Tega Cay and Joanna S. Bullock of Dundalk; her great grandchildren, Samantha Grace Haynes of Wilmington, Carson Landon DeSarno of Charlotte and Harper Wynne Haynes of Wilmington; her siblings, William Penn Coats (Alma McPhail Coats) of Salemburg, Gloria Coats Faircloth (Dwight Faircloth), Myrtle Beach and Maybelle Coats Milor (Don Milor) of Autryville; and her close friend James Clark. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Halls Methodist Church (4621 Minnie Hall Rd, Autryville, NC 28318). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
