He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Isaac Cook and Blanche Elizabeth Steele Cook; and his siblings, Walter Oliver Cook, Rodney Elvie Cook, William "Mike" Cook and Judith Priscella Bowers.
He is survived by: his son Jeremi Cook (Katelynn) of Fayetteville; and his sister Edith Combs of Virginia.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home Chapel (6535 Clinton Rd, Stedman, NC 28391).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 1990 Fordham Dr, Suite 100, Fayetteville, NC 28304, in honor of their service and sacrifice.
