He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ruth and Samuel Pope. He is survived by: his wife Celeste Pope; his children, Kenneth Ray (Michele) and Wendy Pope Sneed (Richard); his granddaughters, Danielle Sneed and Bryanna Harmon (Corey); his great grandchild River Lane Harmon; and his siblings, Samuel Wayland (Ruth) and Florence White. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the bereavement fund at Oak Grove PFWB Church 6535 Oak Grove Church Rd., Stedman, NC 28391, the Salvation Army or Gideons International.
