He was predeceased by: his wife Dale Wilson Carlisle; his brother John Kelly Carlisle; his brother-in-law Wilmer Autry; and his niece Gina Kay Carlisle. He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Autry and Larry Carlisle (Esther); his sister-in-law Jean Carlisle; his children, Linda Carlisle Markas (John), Cynthia Carlisle and Robert Carlisle; his grandchildren, Hyland Carlisle (Hanani) and Hillary Carlisle; his great grandchildren, Hava and Gunnar; and his nieces and nephews, Sandra Williams, Melody Ann Whitehead, Jeffrey Autry and Phillip Autry.
