He is survived by: his daughter Linda Brewington McLaurin; his sons-in-law, Billy McLaurin (Gloria Nelson) and James Johnson; his siblings, Victor Lee Dawson, Zola Mae Pridgen and Floyd Brewington; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Johnson, Anthony, Samantha Thompkins, Lakeshia, Tyrone Pearson, Kiara, Brandon Dixon and Rickey Nelson. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
