We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2024, at the age of 75, Woodrow Bennett Johnson (Statesville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Johnson and Florence Bennett Johnson; his siblings, Ronald Johnson, Wilfred Johnson and Cynthia Winebarger; and his nephews, John Paul Smith and Anthony Rogers.

He is survived by : his wife Deborah Johnson; his children, Robert Johnson (Traci) and DeOna Sands; his grandchildren, Matthew, Maekenzie Sands, Madeleine, Jacqueline and Jake Johnson; and his siblings, Donald Johnson, Peggy Parris (Phillip), Florence Ann Rogers, Cathy Hartness (Denny), Paulette Johnson and Nancy Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677). A burial was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at the Oakwood Cemetery (114 N Oakwood Dr, Statesville, NC 28677).
