Lowery, Jr. (Phyllis) of Mooresville and Allen B. Lowery (Grace) of Kannapolis; his grandchildren, Tariq Lowery, Taija Lowery, Ta'zia Lowery, Tymorrie Lowery, Kehlani Lowery, Kalel Ramik Lowery and Keon Lowery; his nieces and nephews, LaKedra Lowery and Bobby D. "BJ" Holmes, Jr. (Telia); and his cousins, Terry "Sport" Lowery of Greensboro, Ryan O. Smith (Kimberly) of Maryland, Likuana Lowery Mozer (Don), Shonda Lowery, Danielle Lowery and Amanda Lowery. He is also survived by nieces, a nephew, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

“I'm sure it's no secret Tyrone had his problems in life like we all do. Recently He was paying for those mistakes, like we all do. I had to pleasure of meeting Tyrone, sadly while incarcerated. Was my first time, and He was one of the guys there, that made it easier to deal with. He was always happy, always positive, always wanted to push you do be better. Though I only knew him for less than 2 weeks, he made me a better person. He will be sorely missed. RIP good sir - "Spanky"”
