With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Turner (Statesville, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eddie Turner and Josephine King Turner; his siblings, John Edward King, Bruce Turner, Forest Leon Turner and Betty Turner; and his sister-in-law Catherine Turner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Herbert Turner (Berneil) of West Virginia, Richard Turner of Statesville and Frances Dalton of Statesville; his sister-in-law Sadie King of Statesville; his niece Fajoya Blackwell of Statesville; and his close friend Sandra Roseboro of Statesville. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary (603 S Center St, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
