He is survived by: his children, Darnell Mills of Salisbury, NC, Charles Pless of Kannapolis, NC, Oscar Wilson of Mooresville, NC, Bertha Horne (Anthony Gaines) and Elaine Wilson of Hickory, NC; his brother Barnette Westmoreland (Glenda) of Cleveland, NC; and his grandchildren, Shante Bowman (Tyrone) of Yadkinville, NC, Antonio Westmoreland (Tina) of Yadkinville, NC, Patrice Westmoreland of Wilkesboro, NC, Jamell Stephens of Mississippi, Tijwaun Stephens of Statesville, NC, Roger Martin of Mocksville, NC, Dyrell Dalton (Megan) of Elkin, NC, Shania Dalton of Yadkinville, NC, Iaisha Oliver (Anthony) of Mocksville, NC and Naisha Dalton of Yadkinville, NC. He is also survived by 28 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
