He was predeceased by: his parents, James Columbus Campbell and Fannie Anderson Campbell; and his brothers, James, Sylvester and Jay Campbell.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hayes Campbell; and his sons, Danny Campbell (Nancy), Rick Campbell (Susan) and Mark Campbell (Debbie). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great, great-grandchildren.
