He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Eugene Deal and May Estell Deal (Swicegood). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Deal (Hartsell) of Statesville; his children, Wesley Deal (Rafael) of Costa Rica, Franklin Deal of Statesville and Anita Deal Weaver of Statesville; his sister Shirley Forbes of Statesville; his grandsons, Justin Kiser (Samantha) of Statesville and Johnathan Kiser of Minnesota; his great grandchildren, Lily, Emerie and Callie Kiser; his nieces, Meridith Koplan and Cindy Finely; and his nephew Rodney Forbes.
