He is survived by: his wife Krista Heaggans Cousar; his children, Thomas Nathaniel Cousar, Anesia D'Nae Cherry, Anaya Ji'nae Cherry (Sheldon) and Maria Cortez; his sister Yolanda Cousar Oliver (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Revallie Faith McIver and Sophia Cortez; his aunts and uncles, Lula Cousar Rorie, Rosetta Cousar Staten, Robert Lee Cousar (Dorothy) and John Edward Cousar; his nephew Chance Hill-Thibou; and his godson Mitchell "MJ" Watts, Jr..
