With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susie Mae Vestal Ireland (Statesville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myles Vestal and Douschka Smith Vestal; her husband Willie Ireland; and her stepdaughter Bobbie Jean Williams. She is survived by: her son Terry Ireland of Mooresville; and her grandchildren, Shawna Ireland Harrelson, Terri Jo Ireland, Angie Ireland, Dale Williams (Jennifer), Nicki Somers (Nathan), Jamie Sloan and Kimberly Sloan. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
For those who prefer, memorials or contributions may be given to Gordon Hospice House, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625, where she was lovingly cared for during her last days.
