It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Rucker (Statesville, North Carolina), born in Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Rucker (Rucker) and Vadilue Craig Rucker; her son Kenny "Pop" Smith; and her siblings, Jerry Rucker, Lucious Rucker, Maddie Rucker and Austin Rucker.
She is survived by: her brother Donald Rucker (Shirley); her grandchildren, Te'Era Daniels and Kendrell Stevenson; her niece Sheila Polk; her nephews, Charles Polk and Anthony Rucker; and her close friend Omega. She is also survived by nieces, and nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
