He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Mathewson Bush and Ruth Keller Bush. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Decker Bush; and his children, Stergil "Gil" Jerome Bush, Jr. (Lori) of Salisbury, Garrett Mathewson Bush (Anna) of Mt. Airy, Tammy McDonald Walker and Karen McDonald Little (Justin) of Belmont.
