He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Summers Reaves and Margaret Elizabeth Smith Reaves; his brother Michael Tyran "Packy" Reaves; and his grandson Cyrus Reaves. He is survived by: his children, Tiana Harris (Damin) of Troutman, Five, Stephen Reaves II (Dedra), Ri'Shon Leazer of Mooresville, Nickolas Reaves of Harmony, Shawn Reaves of Sherrills Ford and Bryson Mabe (Nessa) of Statesville; his sisters, Margo Lackey of Statesville, Chrystal Hall of Statesville and Tammi Minor of Statesville; his sister-in-law Dorothea Garrett Reaves; his aunts and uncles, Kenneth Smith, Ray Smith, Wanda Smith and Jannett Smith; his grandchildren, Kauvae Alexander, Deshawn Harris, Jayda Harris, Kinstin Reaves, Bryson Wynn, Shoniya Leazer, Kennedy Leazer and Javean Phifer; and his cousin Darrell Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
