He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Bumgarner, Sr. and Ella Abernethy Bumgarner; and his siblings, Inez Lail, Shirley Hinson, Margie Hilton, Ada Setzer, Ernest Bumgarner, Hugh Bumgarner, Coyte Bumgarner, Forrest Bumgarner and Gerald Bumgarner.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Lackey Bumgarner; his sons, Philip Bumgarner (Lisa) and Stacey Bumgarner; his grandsons, Bryan Bumgarner (Stephanie) and Todd Bumgarner; and his great grandchildren, Brianna Bumgarner and Jaxton Bumgarner.
