It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Ann McCullough of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James G. "Babe" Hunter and Mildred Woods Hunter; and her siblings, James Pete Hunter, Milton "Peanut" Woods and Regina Hunter.
She is survived by: her daughter Brandi Hunter; her grandchildren, Ajaya Brooklyn Blackwell and Bryson Khaleel Hunter; her great grandchild Karter Zyhir Blackwell; her brother Howard Hunter; and her nieces and nephews, Whitney Ray, Brett Woods, Missy Woods, Treva Woods, Fred Dobbins, James Dobbins, Calvin Dobbins, Brian Dobbins and Brittany Dobbins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nicholson Funeral Home (135 E Front St, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at the Belmont Cemetery (2000 E Greenbriar Rd, Statesville, NC 28625).
