We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2024, at the age of 91, Sarah Plyler Adams (Statesville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Plyler and Mary Ratledge Plyler; her husband Bill Adams; and her sister Martha Plyler Johnston. She is survived by: her children, Steve Adams (Terrie), Sheryl Adams Burnett (Larry) and Bill; her grandchildren, Stepphanie Adams Gantt (Brian), David Adams (Alison), Joseph Adams Burnett (Tiffany), Casey Adams (Kendrick) and Sarah Burnett; and her brother James "Pete" Plyler. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
