It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Harris of Statesville, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee Mock and Ruthie Moose Mock; her husband Wayne Blakely Harris; and her sisters, Isabelle Herring, Rose Waugh, Delores Hood and Mary Houser.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Harris Taylor (Jimmy) and Pamela Harris Wooten (Rick); her grandsons, Justin Taylor (Kim Wall), Benjamin Wooten (Holly), Joshua Wooten (Angela) and Adam Wooten (Virginia); and her great grandchildren, Alli Wooten, Averi Wooten, Andrew Wooten, Emma Wooten, Lucas Wooten, Katy Wooten, Olivia and Lani Wall.
