She is survived by: her children, Katherine Wheaton Smith (Michael Smith) of Mooresville, NC and David Edward Wheaton of North Bend, Washington.; her husband Eric Wheaton; her grandson Cole; her sisters, Carolyn Mohnsen (Bonnie Mohnsen) and Marilyn "Rustie" Dunlap; and also, Kenzie Smith Winslow and Jon Michael Smith.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Iredell County or to Alzheimer's Association.
