With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Alexander of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Espy Matheson and Annie Bell Gilleland Matheson; her siblings, Sonny Matheson, Calvin Matheson, Curtis Matheson, Herman Matheson, Virginia Ladd and Judy Stewart; and her pet Cocoa.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Ray Shook, Steve Shook and Teresa Shook Coley; her grandchildren, Tony Ray Wingler, Andy Shook, Scott Shook and Chasity Dillard; her pet Cee Cee Ann Shook; her great grandchildren, Piper Shook, Asher Shook, Shilo Shook, Emilee Dillard and Oakley Wingler; her godchildren, Anne Heatwole, Terri Ward and Mike Moore; and her close friend Kelly Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
