He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Tolar and Bosie Tolar; and his siblings, Katie Lou Locke, Ethel Mae Layton, Bernice Edwards, Lucy Pearl Addison, Flora Eunice Nowell and George Tolar (Buddy).
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Tolar; his children, Betty Sue Doty (Drake) of Statesville, NC, Eugene Tolar (Jane) of Clayton, GA and Tony Tolar (Debbie) of LaBelle, FL.; his grandchildren, Eric Tolar (Beth Ann), Ashley Nance (Jerrod), Tonie Marie Garcia (Chris), Corie Tolar (Jacob) and Casey Fry; and his great grandchildren, Lyla Beth, Brock, Sadie Grace, Easton Tolar, Zaiden Sawatzky, Blaze Garcia, Lawson Nance and Cody Fry.
