He is survived by: his wife Terry Wilson Simpson; his children, Robert Parson of Statesville, David Simpson of Statesville and Jennifer Parson of Statesville; his stepdaughter Charita Simpson; his grandchildren, Shakeia Parson, Courtney Parson and Tamara Parson; and his great grandchildren, Quebyn Manuel, Samariah Parson, Nevaeh Parson and Sariah Parson. He is also survived by many cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
