He was predeceased by: his father Robert F. Hallet. He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Bennett Hallet; his children, Dean Hallet (Kathleen) of Virginia and Kim Butz of Statesville; his close friend Theresa Barba; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hallet, Robert T. Hallet (Kara) and Jeffrey C. Butz (Tessa); and his great grandchildren, Leo Hallet, Landon Hallet, Koda Butz and Westlynn Butz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Gordon Hospice House, 2341 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625.
