He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hopkins and Inez Hopkins; his sisters, Martha Carpenter, Dossie Hopkins and Myrtle Westmoreland; and his stepson Brett Chambers.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hopkins; his children, Mark Hopkins (Alex) and Beth Zayicek; his stepdaughter Kim Cook (Ed); and his grandchildren, Sam Montgomery, Matt Montgomery (Maria), Jordan Hopkins (Dustin), Cameron Hopkins, Spencer Cook (Lindsay) and Brittany Warricks (Daniel). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
