It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Yount Morrison Sr. (Statesville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rufus Morrison, Jr. and Edith Marie Yount Morrison; his brothers, Tom Morrison and Bob Morrison; his son Les McElroy; his grandchildren, Timothy and Christina; and his great grandchild Keynan.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Morrison; and his children, Richard Morrison, Jr., Tambra Inman, John Morrison (Wendy), Melissa McElroy and Samuel Morrison (Holly). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
