We bid farewell to Reid Alexander Tomlin (Statesville, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Reid touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Tomlin and Beulah Campbell Tomlin; and his sister Ella Jane Tomlin Burris. He is survived by: his children, Glenda White Tomlin, Cynthia Tomlin Marshall, Andy Reid Tomlin (Dianne Jones Tomlin) and Bradley Morris Tomlin (Kristie Walker Tomlin); his grandchildren, Jodi T. Woods (Andrew), Jamie M. Deal (Brad), Ashley Tomlin, Dana M. Marin (Daniel), Abigail T. Matthews (Cole), Jeremy Mobley (Lydia) and Bradley Mobley (Annie); his great grandchildren, Dakota York, Hunter Tomlin, Mason Mobley, Lane, Levi Marin, Bryson Mobley, Addison Hancock, Molly Mobley, Eleanor Deal, Mallory Mobley and Sutton Matthews; and his sisters, Margaret Tomlin Johnson, Bessie Tomlin Josey and Doris Tomlin Childers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (149 New Hope Rd, Statesville, NC 28625). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
