Rebecca Matney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Matney (Statesville, North Carolina), who passed away on March 22, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Paulette Henderson Cloer. She is survived by: her father Hoyt Cloer; her children, Ethan (Daytona Matney) and Chloe (Brian Matney); her grandchildren, Oliver Matney, Aurora Jenkins, Clark Dotson and Lucina Johnson; her brothers, David Cloer and Jason Cloer; her nephews, Joshua Cloer and Timmy Cloer; her close friend Clark Dotson Sr.; her nephew Clarks; her daughter Candace Dotson; and also Clark Dotson Jr. (Katie). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (149 New Hope Rd, Statesville, NC 28625).
