She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy Lee Alexander Shell and Parks Wesley Shell of Statesville, NC; her daughter Angela Cook Peeler; and her grandsons, Casey and Jason Peeler of Cherryville, NC..
She is survived by: her daughter Shelley Dawne Cook of Terrell, NC; her granddaughter Amber Peeler Donaldson (Lance); her great grandchildren, Bentley and Adalynn Donaldson; her grandson Josh Peeler (Nikki); her great grandchild Kenai Peeler; her son-in-law Jeff Peeler of Cherryville, NC; her sisters, Martha Futrell of Statesville, NC, Leslie Shell of Palm Desert, CA and Sallie Vallereux (Don) of Statesville, NC; her nieces and nephews, Lindsey Daley Pryor (Ryan), Brittany Daley Broome (Kyle), Courtney Daley, Peter Futrell, John Futrell and Miles Hechtman; and her husband Reverend Jerry R Cook.
