Nichols; her children, Tyson Byers (Sheena) of Statesville, Vernon Byers of Statesville, Robert Anthony Nichols of Statesville, David Byers of Taylorsville, Brenda Simpson (Thomas) of Statesville, Talanya Nichols of Statesville, Natasha Byers of Arizona and Treva; her sister Linda Morrison; her grandchildren, Thomas Simpson Jr. (T. J.), Corvus Simpson, Princess Simpson, Ty'Shaun Byers, Jalea Byers, Ty'Anna Byers, Ty'Carter Byers, Michael Ferguson and Cameron Byers; and her great grandchildren, Sha'mek Simpson, Ashyah Simpson, Jaqualen Simpson, Caleb Simpson, Jymessa Simpson, Rodney Mashore Jr. and Majestee Mashore. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
