He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Andrew Jones and Zetta Reid Jones; his grandson Cooper Hamilton; and his brothers, Dale, Tommy, Jimmy and Robert "Junior" Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Fields Jones; his children, Kristina Jones Hamilton (Matthew) and Kenneth Paul Jones; his siblings, Johnnie Jones (Debbie), Billy Jones (Gail) and Annie Alexander (Roger); and his grandsons, Davis and Blaine Hamilton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
