He is survived by: his wife Linda Garrett Reed; his daughter Renee Reed Gilliam (Jason); his grandsons, Garrett of Statesville, NC, Benjamin of Statesville, NC and Parker Gilliam of Statesville, NC; and his nephew Howard Morrison (Geri).
