She is survived by: her children, David James Stamey (Devon Oliver Stamey) of Statesville, Robert "Robb" Shaw Stamey (Kelly Holtzmuller Stamey) of Cornelius, Margaret "Meg" Stamey French (Brett Walker French) of Statesville and Miami; her grandsons, Max James and Oliver Graham Stamey of Statesville; her children, Catherine Ann, Megan Elizabeth, Chase David Stamey of Cornelius, Ashley Slay and Elizabeth Stamey French of Statesville; her sister Mindy Priest Staton (Richard Lee Staton); and her siblings-in-law, Charles "Charlie" Howard Stamey (Christine "Chris" Troutman), Sue Stamey Stewart Wells (Richard), Wells of Greensboro, Margaret Stamey Payne (Ronald "Ron" Payne) of Asheville and Annie Stamey Palles of Raleigh.
