It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Henry McCabe Jr. of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Sr. McCabe and Rose Fuller McCabe; and his siblings, Clarence McCabe (Hazel), Roy McCabe, Lyle McCabe, Paul McCabe (Joyce), Esther McCabe Purdy (Roger), Ethel McCabe Gradler (William) and Mona McCabe Brower (Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Reiser McCabe; his sons, Michael McCabe (Margaret) and Eugene McCabe (Wendy); his grandchildren, Brandi Porcelli (Anthony), Kristin McCabe (Alison), Lacey Barnicle, Todd McCabe and Sarah McCabe; his sister Violet McCabe Buffum; and his sister-in-law Rosemary Reiser Cutuli (Leonard). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Oscar's honor to Troutman First United Methodist Church.
