It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olin Deford Absher Jr. of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Sr. Absher and Catherine Watkins Absher; and his brothers, Ricky Absher and Vernon Absher. He is survived by: his fiancé Shirley Lyalls; and his siblings, Patricia Campbell (Charlie) of Grassy Creek, Teresa Lane of North Wilkesboro, Janet Garrison (Donnie Frazier) of North Wilkesboro, Rebecca Fletcher (Dale) of Moravian Falls and Ray Absher (Teresa) of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
