It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neva Mae Sherrill (Statesville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Lee Sturgis; her husband Arthur Lee Sherrill Sr.; her daughter Valerie Sherrill; and her grandchildren, Alex Forte' and Tywon Sherrill.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur Lee Sherrill (Jennifer) of Statesville and Annette Sherrill of Statesville; her brothers, Gerald Sturgis of Statesville, Oscar Sturgis of Statesville and Charles Frank Sturgis of Statesville; and her grandchildren, Eric Sherrill (Carrie) of Mocksville, L. Hodge Malik of Statesville, Javon Dontae Sherrill of Statesville, Chandra Ferguson of Hickory, Brittany Gray, Tempest C. Colvert (Melvin), Brontae Nichols (Mike), Brianna J. Sherrill, C. J. Cathrell (Teresa) of Statesville, Kamron Sherrill of Statesville, Henry Crowder of Statesville and Malakai Potter of Augusta, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
