It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mildred Wooten Price of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 93, on February 22, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Wooten and Betty Johnson Wooten; her husband Jack Price; her son Larry Price; her siblings, Jim, Lonnie Wooten (Nancy) and Betty Wilson (Norris); her son-in-law Luther Souther; her granddaughter Matia Nicholson; and her close friend Benny Haithcox.

She is survived by: her son Jerry Price (Phyllis); her daughter-in-law Geri Price; her daughter Linda Souther; and her sister-in-law Peggy Wooten. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, N.C. 28625 or to the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Disaffiliation Fund in memory of the entire Wooten family as well as Mildred, 607 Bethlehem Rd., Statesville, N.C. 28677.
