He was predeceased by: his father Robert Hamlin; and his brother Terry Hamlin. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Mallory Hamlin; his children, Stephen Hamlin (Jamie) and Lindsay Hamlin (Brad Summer); his grandchildren, Emmaline Hamlin of Virginia and Magnolia Faith Hamlin; and his brothers, Bill Hamlin (Melody) and Tim Hamlin (Christina).
