He is survived by: his mother Mary Elizabeth Cotton of Statesville; his daughter April Marie Harper (Marva Harper) of Statesville; his siblings, Sharon Cain (Richard) of Statesville, Joyce Chambers (Ronnie) of Statesville, Kassana Cotton White of Statesville, Monica Kinney of Statesville and Rodney Garner (Channeil); his brother-in-law Greg White; his sister Tonetta Stevenson; his nieces, Ashley White and Dawn Garner; his cousins, Nathaniel "Jed" Rankins and Derwin Rankins; and his aunts and uncles, Roosevelt Booker, Jerry Campbell, Mildred Booker and Sadie Campbell. He is also survived by other nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends, also his church family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cameron Presbyterian Church (2912 Salisbury Hwy, Statesville, NC 28625). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 8:30 PM at the Belmont Cemetery (2000 E Greenbriar Rd, Statesville, NC 28625).
