He is survived by: his wife Gail Letterlough Powers; his daughters, Jacqueline Yvonne Powers of Greensboro and Melanie Denise Powers of Wake Forest; his grandson Luke Powers of Greensboro; his siblings, Carl Powers of Statesville and Sheena Jones (Eugene) of Mocksville; and his cousins, Stephanie Connor, Kacina Meadows and Laura Thompson. He is also survived by other relatives, neighbors, and friends.
