It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ellen Jones of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 7, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Brown Stevenson and Nellie Winters Stevenson; her husband Willis Howard Jones; and her sisters, Marie Hendrix and Marjorie Swann.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Cashion (Rick) of Stony Point, Carrol Jones (Terrie) of Stony Point, Janice Whitehead of Alabama and Gary Jones (Sherri) of South Carolina; her grandchildren, Kristi, Steve, Bill, Kris, Eric, Ryan, Weslyn and Justin; her great grandchildren, Jansen, Emory, Rivers and Lilly; and her siblings-in-law, Ray Jones and Gwen Nash.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concord Presbyterian Church food pantry or the charity of the donor's choice.
