He is survived by: his mother Julia Evelyn Cox; his son Matthew Joseph Forehand (Catalina); his wife Linda Forehand; his father Juette Forehand; his siblings, Allen Forehand (Nan) and Cindy Forehand Gibson (Hal); his daughter Monica Forehand Ferdinandsen (Ryan); his grandchildren, Austen, Brady, Olivia and Joaquin; his daughter Hannah Taggart (Joshua); his grandsons, Landon, Wyatt, Nolan and Corbin; his daughter Heather Lund (Austin); and his grandchildren, Evelyn, Denali, Kendrick and Brixton.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Brenner Children's Hospital Wake Forest Baptist Health, an organization that held great importance to Mark, or to Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.
