She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Brown Stevenson and Nellie Winters Stevenson; her husband Joseph Griffith Swann; her daughter Debra Swann Francis; her granddaughter Erica Swann; and her sister Marie Hendrix.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Swann McGee (Barry), David Swann and Rebecca Swann Shive (Charles); her son-in-law James Francis; her grandchildren, Laura McGee, Kyle McGee, Alexa Swann Skelly (Colin), Monica Swann Sharpe (Darren), Andrew Shive and Corey Shive; her great grandchildren, Marcella Sharpe and Wyatt Sharpe; her sister Martha Ellen Jones; and her sister-in-law Sue Brown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Alzheimer's and Dementia research or Concord Presbyterian Church.
