She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger R. Barkley and Myrtle Holler Barkley; her husband Robert Lee "R. L." Dickens; her former husband Samuel G. Hubbard; and her siblings, Phillip, Roy, Wilfred, Tate Barkley, Nellie D. Williams and Helen B. Warren.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Scott Hubbard of Huntersville and Stephen Barkley Hubbard of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Erin Hubbard, Jeremy Deen and Ronnie Deen, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Lotus and Madison Deen; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Barkley of Statesville and Linda Barkley of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
