He was predeceased by: his father Luther Bartlett; his wife Bobbie Williams Bartlett; and his siblings, Louise Boling, James Bartlett and Barbara Woodward.
He is survived by: his children, Robyn Abernathy (Richard) and Starr Chroust; his grandchildren, Todd Abernathy (Stacey), Bart Abernathy, Brittani Crenshaw Gardner (Thomas) and Jordan Crenshaw; his great grandchildren, Mary Charles and Laine Abernathy; and his sisters, Charlene Adams and Linda Bartlett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
