She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cole and Nellie Hailey Cole; her husband Carl Glenn Johnston; her son Kelvin Johnston; her granddaughter Courtney Johnston; and her sisters, Mary Thompson, Betty Slemp and Kate Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Shepherd, Lisa Kimball (Eddie) and Zeb Johnston (Robin); her grandchildren, Shelley Shepherd, Chris Johnston (Julianna), Travis Johnston and Ryan Johnston; her siblings, John Cole and Virginia Leonard; and her daughter-in-law GiGi Johnston.
