She is survived by: her husband Wade Kates of Statesville, NC; her daughter Christina Connolly of Statesville, NC; her siblings, Filipinas Halford (Ningning), Viluz Palma, Lilia Reformina (Nonoy) and Tomas Mendoza (Belen); her grandsons, Caden Connolly and Dominic Connolly; and her niece Mabel Siceloff (John) of Olin, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
